Description:

What a hottie!!!  Flaming coral orange-red on such a large flower, and held so high indeed!

The naming rights of this flower (plus a nice plant) were donated to the Region 2 Summer Meeting in Madison, WI.  John Sheehan, the RVP for R2, won the auction for it!  Great guy, and he picked the perfect person to name it for, too!  Lady Jane Pearcy is, and has been for many years, and integral activist for not just the AHS... but for Region 2 as well.  A founder of her local daylily club, she's been quite a busy gal ever since!  I'm so happy that this gorgeous performer of a plant seems to have found it's "rightful" person to be named for!

Please note, that this plant (like many of the large-flowering and tall types) can take 2 seasons to show it's "true colors" and full height and flower size. However, plants lined here in Fall are looking good by their first year (initial photo, which also shows that when in good culture, has 5-6 way branching without fail)!
