Description:

This big guy really knows how to have some FUN! Like a day at Myrtle Beach (or any shore where a good country radio station can be found in Summer), he's ready to PARTY! Flaming and HUGE red eyes may be typical of a "morning after" some fun (and a good sized bottle of Jack Daniels), but it won't stop this fella from kickin' up his heels 'round the boardwalks... oh no! Such vigor and stamina are always in fashion, at ANY southern "Redneck Riviera"! For those up north who can't make it down for some fun, it's okay... this plant is a hardy dormant, so you can join the party too!

Beyond (what should be) obvious advantages of a large flower with such intense colors in the garden, habit on this plant is VORACIOUS. Massive fans and wide foliage are incredibly strong on this one, giving even pre-and post-bloom season interest in the garden. What a novel idea in hybridizing daylilies, 'eh? ;-)
