Description: WOW... what a nice color scheme in a garden!!! Flowers on this hottie can hit near 9" initially, but do indeed settle back to 7.5 as the season progresses (at least here, when we generally move into our drought season). I've been impressed by the reliable form, and flawless blooms that pump out of the thick foliage on this one. I've never seen any curling, melting, or slicking of the blooms... nor general loss of color (including the green) during even the hottest days.
Clean, bright, and big... the huge green "quasar" quite striking on the dark self, and surely fires ME up when I see it! No worries about hardiness either, which is all the "clean energy" I need... to get me thinkin' of this one bloomin' again!
