Description:

This little hottie was one of only 106 seedlings selected out of a crop of over 10,000 that I started in 2014. The reasons: It screamed with a GLARING color that I couldn't miss from afar, holds great foliage until frost, and just kept blooming... and blooming... and blooming!!!  I've had very real trouble capturing the hot orange color with my cameras for some reason - the vivid orange ones are from my phone, and though everything else looks funky, the color is most accurate for what I see with my own eyes here.

With "Scatterbrain" as a mother, there's some decent doubling on this one... mostly on last half of initial scapes, and all of rebloom. Definitely adds interest, but most useful if you happen to be looking to make some crosses of your own for hardy (and VERY vibrant!) doubles that actually rebloom in the north.

I priced this one low to start out with, ONLY because I know people will poo-poo such a basic looking flower. It's hard to breed primarily for garden performance, as the "mug shot" of a single bloom almost never wins people over. I'm not worried though, 'cuz this one sold out COMPLETELY the in the garden here the first year it was available... when people SEE how nice it is IN an actual garden.

2022: Sold out first year, so 2021 was all about increasing the few I had.  Not a "ton" for 2022, so get it while ya can!
