Description: Wow... talk about "Spring Clean"!!!
This flower is one of 3 gorgeous new "greens" I introduced in 2016, and the most "formal" of them all! The two parents are the best green-throated plants I've produced over many years of working with various plants to achieve as much green as possible, and it's SO cool to see "improvements" now!
The self on this one is actually an off-white/cream (with occasional blush of light pink) , which can show itself more in cooler weather. The deep green throat however, is ALWAYS there... which is insured you'll become quite familiar with, by its very rapid rebloom (see scape photo, where bloom and rebloom are simultaneous - note too, that those scapes are HUGE for a diploid cultivar). I believe it owes its more rounded look, beefy foliage, and rebloom to it's "Carol Van Sciver" heritage. Coupled with the fact this one reblooms NICELY, is the fact it's s'dang pod fertile - GREAT news for folks lookin' for dip breeders that throw tet-like habit, and heavy bloom cylcles.
In any case, there's NO denying... this reminder of a wonderful adventure in the most beautiful valley of all of Switzerland is a winner!
2022: Ran out last 2 years, and almost none to sell this year either.
