Description:

STUNNING!!! This gal is definitely one of my personal faves, and one of the most important breeders in my long-running diploid program here. Wickedly pod fertile, and with habit that rivals ANY tetraploid, a producer of amazing kids!

Immaculate near-white has the most delicate appearance, what with such stylish ruffles and texture... no matter when, or what time o' day you gaze upon her beauty! The color scheme is ridiculously "clean", and by sheer nature, impossible to blemish. INTENSE green throat radiates beautifully, giving this incredibly ornate gal a totally green cast in the garden... all day long! As if that's not enough to win the pickiest gardener (or visitor!) over, step in for a sniff... WOW! No need to wait forever for a short bloom season with this one either... my scape image shows how a single mature fan of this new cultivar can produce rebloom SO fast, that 3 are showing in succession... at one time (from right to left)!!! Not easy to get this kind of performance on a diploid cultivar. Northern gardeners take note... you've actually a shot at rebloom on this wonderfully dormant beauty!!!

Named for one of my very bestest of friends, and my first real "garden buddy", Carol Van Sciver. Funny how gardening can really bring people together, and that's certainly what happened between us! Carol is one of the most kind and generous souls I've ever met in my life, and this flower is one that certainly brings her to my mind... I miss her!!! Carol is a Master Quilter (one of her MANY talents), and I've a wall quilt right here on my office wall that she made just for me (framed it up all pretty)... that reminds me of her each and every day. This gorgeous flower has a very quilted "puffy" look too... so now I can think of her outside in the garden too! Did I mention... I really miss her?! Thanks so much Carol... for being YOU!!! I LOVE ya, Hon!!! ;-)

2022:  Through trades, I not only actually HAVE some of this hottie to sell again this season... but I've dropped the price for the first time in YEARS!  Get it... while I actually HAVE it!
