Description: They say that folks get involved in daylilies because "of the flower"... and STAY in daylilies because in reality, it's "About the People"!
This striking gal is really an amazing performer, most notably in clay-based soils... where it leaps to amazing proportions and scaping, with rebloom almost simultaneous to initial bloom. WHAT a SHOW! As you can see in the "group clump shot" (last photo), when it was in its last year of increase and planted in solid red clay, the plants were simply phenomenal... topping out over 40"! In general garden soil, it's not quite as large... gotta LOVE a daylily, that prefers abuse!
