Description: Large, "open form" flowers are indeed my personal faves in the garden... they really offer good "foundation" in the garden, when gazing from afar. This particular flower really fills this duty, with a VERY large green waxy throat... which repeats so perfectly on the sepals. The hot deep pink color of the flower is clean and fresh looking, especially during the late season. The overall look is quite balanced... and stately! Being a very late bloomer... it adds a LOT of great structural color, at a time when most others have finished up for the year. Great too, is that with great branching (lateral branches even bifurcate/split!)... you're assured a long-lasting show!
Great parent, too... evident with "Chromatose" (Owen, 2016)!
