Description:

2019 AHS/ADS HM Individual Cultivar Award Winner!!! WOO HOO!!!

"What a FUN and GORGEOUS Party Girl!"... is exactly what I said when this plant started blooming it's first mature year! There was immediately no doubt who I should include in the name... my friend Maureen Faber, of Michigan!

This flower is a mesmerizing shade of DEEP saturated lemon yellow... with a huge waxy green throat that extends well out onto all it's segments. The overall effect is a cheek-smackin' "wake up" from the garden!

Indeed, this is NOT your "average yellow"... with such gorgeous blooms AND rebloom, and up to 5-way branching! Great scapes for exhibitions, winning blue ribbons in the "extra large" category all over the country... and even a "Best in Show" in the biggest one of ALL! Bloom is different every time, and as large as 12". Fragrant, to boot! "Intensity" IN the garden just can't be caught in photos.

Great breeder for cool UF's as well... such as "Knickers in a Twist" (Owen, 2013), and "Pom Squad" (Owen, 2016).

Honestly, this plant is one that's VERY close to my heart... BEYOND just being a "favorite". It's the only one of my intro's I use for mass plantings in the gardens "proper", and nearly EVERY person who visits the gardens takes home with them.

This is a "MUST HAVE!" daylily, if there EVER was one.
