Description: David is the best friend I've ever had, and the very least I could do is pick out one of my best "kids" to "Lilify" him with! The most supportive and appreciative guy I could ever have hoped to meet in my life, I'm really happy to have finally paid tribute in some small way to what his wonderful camaraderie has meant to me.
The flower here is extremely dignified, elegant, and quite sure of itself. Clean and to the point, this DEEPLY saturated red-hued purple really makes a statement, and the simple white wire edge really frames it incredibly well... quite stately! The piercing green throat and lavender eye wash merely accentuate the clean nature of this dark and mysterious beauty.
One photo shows the scaping of this plant, which has as many as 4 laterals (each that branch themselves) PLUS a terminal "Y". In addition, you can also see the immediately recurrent bloom in my fingertips... quite fast, for a long and heavy show in the garden!
A wonderful plant, named for a wonderful and dedicated man!
GREAT parent for plant habit and clear colors, too!
