Daylily: Hemerogasm*

Oh MY! Can ANY other name describe such a totally CRAZY and mindless (yet VERY fulfilling!) EXPLOSION in the garden?! Heck NO! For all the many reasons I love daylilies, I can certainly say that coming up with one that fills space in my garden like THIS... is certainly a major climax of my career! Indeed... THAT'S the spot, you unforgiving BEAST you!!! WOO HOOOO!!!

For sure, it's been QUITE the challenge to come up with UF doubles that are rock-solid hardy... and this is one of 'em! Add in such height, branching, bud count, and rapid-fire rebloom for kicks? Why NOT?! Hats off to Frank Kropf and Bob Tankesley-Clark for providing the plant material to get me headed in the right direction in all this. Believe me, such a buildup of qualities will definitely take you to new heights as well!!! You know me... "do it right, or don't do it at all"... and since my daylily libido requires I do my best to satiate even the most frigid of daylily lovers out there, I can only HOPE that this endowment will do ya's just wonderfully!!!!

If any of you try to take clump photos of daylilies covered in blooms, you KNOW that the pics come out looking like there's nothing but foliage... so just TRY and imagine what this positively STEAMY hot brute does in REAL life! Have MERCY on the weak kneed, I tell ya!!! Fiery colors do fade a bit in high heat/late day, but really of no consequence... as the underlying yellow just makes it "pop", even more! No matter how many "Hemerogasms" are in bloom on a given day, you'll ALWAYS be begging for MORE!!! Sorry though... due to limited availability, no multiple "Hemerogasms" allowed. ;-)
