Daylily: Fay's Fancy Bloomers

Traveling all over the world to speak to all kinds of lily-lovers out there has not just been something unexpected to ever happen (regardless of how hard I've worked at this gig)... but has also turned out to be one of the most fantastic aspects of messin' with lilies to begin with! This gorgeous cultivar is dedicated to a very special friend I've met along the way - Faith Bange. She's SUCH an inspiration!

I wanted to pick a flower to name for Faith (who also goes by "Fay") that was as pure of heart as she so obviously is as well. This stunning beauty has the most buttery orange self I've ever managed to create here, and the very best of gently looping ruffles to accentuate it with! Moreover, this flower is PERFECT... EVERY time!!! LOVE "consistency", and this beauty HAS IT!!!! Ankle-sized fans are amazing to see... so healthy! So clear (and elegant) at heart, and yet incredibly vivacious (and voracious!) in her performance... I could find none better to bestow with such a GRAND gal's name! Thanks, Jerry and Faith... for ALL you do!!!
