Description:

DEEP and mysterious, this huge beauty has a LOT of dimension to it! The feel one gets when gazing upon these amazingly rich flowers is downright moving... the blood red self color (with stunning satin sheen) just seems to reach into your heart and beg for attention! The flower's own heart is intense in itself... with a large wash of lighter red splashing out onto the petals, positively radiating with intensity. Even the sepals get into the act, making the overall look quite uniform... a level of allure, that just can't be denied!

I chose this flower to dedicate to my only Brother, David. Though nearly 20 years old, I've always loved the photo I have here of the two of us together... taken while we were havin' a GREAT day in the Everglades, near where we were raised. Times have changed, but there's no doubt that the emotional bond between us hasn't... at all. David is a bit more reserved than I am (okay, a lot more), but once you get to know him, you find he has a heart that's SO rich in volume and substance... just no end to what the guy will do, to show he cares. For sure, my brother has a depth to him FAR beyond the norm... and a passion for life, and love, that are so rarely seen anymore. It's for all these reasons (and trust me, many more) that I wanted to bring light to David's goodness of soul and character... indeed, FOR THE LOVE OF DAVID is plenty enough reason to do just that. David, this one's for YOU!... I LOVE YOU, BRO!!!!
