Description: Sometimes, really cool patterned flowers really make me stop an think...
something about their complexity really just draws you in! This is
especially true, when these patterns are extremely saturated... and even better,
when on big flowers... on NICELY tall scapes! DELICIOUS MENTALITY is just
that... not only great food for the garden, but your head as well!
Nearly
a UF, the form of this flower has a tendency to try and cascade... but just
can't, due to the rigid nature of the flower substance. The result is
rather playful! Rebloom is extremely rapid on this beauty too, as you can
clearly see the 2nd set of scapes already showing on a early season clump
shot above. In that same shot, you might notice how much bigger this
cultivar is than its neighbors... that's because it's planted in one of my worst
beds, and still performs like a banshee! Branches are very unusually long
as well, which gives a very wide "spread" of bloom as a result. "Slightly
different", for sure... and one that will stand all the abuse you can muster!
