Description:

THANKS for takin' a look at this one! Not the "newest", but the fact is that it's been such an amazingly popular plant... that I've decided to take it out of "archive" (and my display gardens here), and offer it up again! In the garden, the color is so "tutti fruity" (light orange, reverse bitone, and raspberry-lined sepals), that it's truly a delight to see as a clump. Furthermore, the rebloom is often stronger than the initial bloom... and quite reliable, even into zone 5! In the scape photo, note how late in the season it is. REALLY nice to have so much to show, for a ridiculously fair price!

This flower brings so much whimsical cheer to my garden, I just couldn't help but name it for yet another entity that brings tons of cheer to my life... my Sister Cindy! Cindy has always been the eternal optimist... a lover of not only "all things good", but the one who has always done SO much to insure that she brings good to EVERYONE around her! For decades, she would have our entire family to her house for a gourmet family reunion... going to unbelievable lengths to bring plenty of smiles to the entire family! When Cindy lost her husband to a freak auto accident just a few years ago, the thought that she'd lose her unbelievably fantastic approach to life as a result was almost unbearable for us all. Indeed, it was really hard on her and her kids... as I'm sure you would guess. However, it seems almost embarrassing now to think any of us could have doubted that her light could ever be in any way diminished... and she's now found true love again, and smilin' more than ever before! Oh yes, Cindy is somethin' alright... the best kind of Sister a guy could ever hope for, and a person with a quality of perseverance that's the admiration of us all.
