Description: Lookin' for a daylily with a "slightly different" (and quite vivid!) color scheme? Well then, here ya go!
The odd blend of purple, red, and lavender in this incredibly prolific flower in indeed, unique! Punctuated with a seriously green throat, quite a statement in the garden... especially in early season! I've especially loved having it around in clump form, as once the plant is in ground for 2 (and more) years, it SO "makes itself at home"! By that time, each and every fan is quite happy in producing a rebloom scape... effectively providing bloom into ML season. LOVE that in ANY plant!!! To me, a plant that reblooms so well is far superior in the garden vs. a plant that has extremely high bud count on a single scape... because with the latter, buds are often way too crowded for my liking. This plant may only have 20-24 buds, per scape... but over the long haul of the entire season, 40-48 per fan. Tell me... which do YOU think works better??? LOVE IT!!!
Indeed, I could easily say "isn't it time you get past a bloom's mug shot, and spend your time thinking about what kind of overall QUALITY a new plant might give your garden?"... but instead, I'll tell you that I actually named this plant in thinking of how I want to spend every moment of my waking days - and think you should, too. ;-)
