Description: This diploid UF is a REAL performer... and what a striking green throat!

Actually, this flower is remarkably similar to my previous "Flying First Class" (FFC) in the garden... which was enough to keep me wondering for an additional year as if I should introduce it or not. However, it didn't take long for me to realize that this diploid actually out-performs FFC... and the latter is a Tetraploid! Though FFC's flowers are larger (and plant more robust), this one reblooms more reliably... giving it quite an edge in the garden. It's amazing to me that diploids have come to the point however, that their overall garden value is surpassing tet's.

This one is a rebel alright... and will make dip lovers out of even the MOST jaded resistors, given the chance!

2018: This plant truly IS a great plant. I oversold it upon intro, and it looks like it will be at least 2020 before I have enough to sell again.
