Description: I just can't believe how beautiful this entire plant is. Every flower mesmerizes me with its stunningly relaxed and pure nature... creamy, yet very rugged texture... sweet green throat... tantalizing ruffles and defined (nearly toothy) edge... sheer fullness of bloom, in both size and number... stunning contrast to unusually deep green dormant foliage. Truly... inspiring!
My attempts at white have been quite fruitful over the years, most being shaded with green or very light lemon yellow. THIS one is the most beautiful tetraploid version I'd come up with in this form... not just because the flower is TO DIE FOR, but because the PLANT is TOO! Even the season after lining, EVERY fan puts up one scape after another, giving this plant a super long bloom season. GORGEOUS deep green foliage is as clean as can be, which sets the stage for these heavenly beauties to really show off. GREAT plant, no matter how ya look at it!!!
I can't help but compare this plant to my own "Carol Van Sciver", as they're indeed VERY similar looking plants. Miss Carol is a diploid however... so if you're trying a little dabbin' yourself, you've now equally rugged whites to choose from in each genetic class. How "slightly different" is THAT?! :-*
