Description:

What a RUGGED beauty!!! Large, VERY "color rich" blooms definitely have a more "formal" look... truly etiquette, and wonderful to see! Entire plant is as robust as a freight train, with extremely wide foliage and vigor... and such gorgeous scapes! Wonderful plant overall, since the very nature of the color scheme just can't be missed! "Performance"? This plant is a BEAST!!! Massively vigorous, tremendous scapes, and near instant rebloom! WHOA!!!

Couldn't help but name this plant for a very dear friend of mine... Ron, who lives near St. Louis. He's forever "doing"... having organized countless daylily and gardening conferences, yet still makes time to be a great friend! Was SO nice he made it down here to see "his" plant in person, during the AHS Nat'l Convention here in 2014.
