Description: Well, if THIS one isn't "slightly different" enough for ya... what on Earth is?!  ;-)

A lover of uniqueness, I've certainly been of the set of those amazed by the advent of "sculpting" in daylilies.  Totally three dimensional, this newer trait is one of insured interest!  As most hybridizers have found, it has been difficult to get this trait beyond flowers in the pastel yellow and orange range... and into the patterned arena.  Finally, after several failed attempts... I've gotten lucky with this new kid!

The flower itself is quite feminine... pastel pink, with a very tightly crimped fine double edge of deep pink and emerald gold.  However, the wonderfully bright green throat drawn out and over the deeper pink eye by aid of the raised sculpting pattern is quite "lightning like"!  Having this occur over the deeper eye color manages to bring a huge optical advantage to the trait... making it literally "pop" in the garden.  For sure, if you want some lightnin' in YOUR bloomers... you need to getcha some NOW!  ;-)
