Description:

Isn't she just wonderful??? A namesake for a GREAT friend who has the MOST incredibly vivacious personality one could ever dream of, this "go get 'em" plant was clearly created... for HER!

Jan Wilson (of Elberfeld, IN) is an extremely dynamic gal... to say the least! Ever since meeting her when speaking to the SWIDS club of Evansville, we've been very good friends... she's just SUCH and incredibly unique person! I wanted to dedicate my very first "double" form daylily introduction to her... not just because it's "fresh" (like her), but also because it's vigorous "can do" quality is so similar to her... "Janattitude"! A stunning showgirl in the garden, and with luck... a fine tribute to the wonderful gal she's named for!

I've always loved doubles, but had a hard time finding really "flashy" ones with voracious bloom and plant habit that would do well in the north. Well, here's a hardy dormant one... that does! Blue green foliage hangs on until well into the season, and plants are vigorous as one could ever hope for! Scapes are very deeply branched, often having 4-6 terminal ends. Oddly though, the self color can be a light apricot (with raspberry tinges) in warmer temps, to a fully light raspberry in cooler areas. In any case, it's quite pretty!

Truly divine... as is Jan... and I'm very happy to personally pay tribute to ALL that she does, for everyone who knows her!

Get some while it's HOT... and believe me, she is!!! ;-)
