Description: Selecting a flower to bear the name of my wonderful Sister hasn't been easy over the years... but I know THIS one will make her proud! Mary Lisa (the real gal) has always been a person I can rely on to be herself, has a personality like no other, and is a sweetheart that no person can help but totally fall in love with. She has the uncanny ability to please virtually everyone, put a smile on even the most fickle, and bring happiness to every soul she comes into contact with. She's a wonderful, wonderful person that I love deeply... and I'm very happy to have found just the right flower to carry her name.

Extreme elegance, subtle (yet saturated) lavender self (wonderful for breeding), wonderful fresh green throat, and stunning plant habit make this garden favorite just ooze with class! The sharp green throat extends nicely into a triangular lavender wash, and the flower size and height certainly fit the entire look seamlessly. The overall feeling one gets is quite sedate when gazing at it... a simple pleasure that just does the heart good! All this, and a dormant to boot... Woo Hoo!

Mother to "Doris Stonska" (Owen, 2013).
