DEEP saturated purple with massive green throat and mesmerizing lavender eyewash on this 2014 AHS HM Award Winner! Very sunfast, large, tall, and hardy dormant to boot! A "bud builder", with upward spiraling branches that can get as many as a dozen blooms per whorl by scape's end (40 buds per scape is not uncommon).. COOL!

Great breeder for tall, hardy plants with very large and saturated flowers. Grandparent to"Dreamliner" (Owen, 2015), one of the most intense plants ever conceived here!

Carey Laucius is perhaps the most "unusual" person I've ever met in my life... and I love her more than I could EVER express! Finding the perfect new cultivar to portray her was tough, to say the least! Tall and quite statuesque, this slightly cascading dynamo is one that shares Carey's ability to befriend even the most hardened of heart. Calm in appearance, yet so very playful at heart, this gal is just full of motion! A beacon of warmth and sunshine radiates from her heart so clearly, I'm so hopeful that others will see her as I do. Persevering, friendly, elegant, and so very true to form. "Slightly different"? Oh yes... and I wouldn't have it any other way.
