Description: SO nice to have a very late season daylily that blooms so incredibly well... but in white? Quite literally "COOL!", and at a time o' year such effect is reeeeally appreciated!
Another reason to appreciate late blooming daylilies is for their plant habit, which due to not blooming until much later, holds up beautifully for the entire growing/green season. While lots of folks like an early to mid-season hit, trouble is, the plants can look pretty rough until the weather cools down much later. This plant defies all the "norms" of the diploid class, with large and green habit that rivals the generally larger tet's.
Lates aren't tremendously "rare"... but what is, is finding one that reblooms IMMEDIATELY - fast enough that there's a continuous bloom between initial and secondary scapes, and the latter have time to finish before cold weather/frost can render them useless. Just "Imagine" such a cool concept... and then GET ONE, for yourself!
Managed to get a decent video of this gal in very late season last year, and hope you can tell how clean and gorgeous this plant truly is!...
