ELEGANT consistency... at it's FINEST!!! Be sure and check out the new video of it, below!

Near white, but glad it's not... because the soft lavender/orchid self color on this very expressive flower is SO "relaxing", I just have to sigh EACH (and every!) time I see it! Huge flowers are atop massive (and tall!) thick scapes, and the plant's habit is second to none. Sells fabulously well on location... folks who see it, "MUST have it!". I've just loved the way the large light green throat softly "fades" into the theme, and the very fine gold wire around all 6 segments accentuates the very loose ruffles. It's "heaven on Earth", indeed! Did my best to capture the "garden feel" of this one here in my photos, as well as show a scape photo I took of this amazing plant while in the Kleckner garden (for the AHS Nat'l Convention)... in Wisconsin, on just 3 fans that were put in the previous year! Perform that well in the tundra? Of course!

I really loved staying in Innsbruck, Austria (just a few years ago). The place is steeped in lovely traditions, and central to INCREDIBLE natural scenery. Cool and calm, and a place I'll always remember... because I don't want to forget all the sighing I did there either!
