Daylily: Kinky Boots

WOW! This baby is hot, HOT, HOTTTT!!!!

I've indeed taken a liking to gargantuan plants (I call them my "Giants", and THIS is certainly one of 'em!) with huge flowers of absolutely SEARING colors... but this is one of the first I've done with such a vividly contrasting bubbly edge! The entire color scheme is truly well balanced and proportioned, with a mood-lifting theme of green to yellow, orange, and red. QUITE bedazzling!!! Of all the Giants, this one has the most spectacular rebloom. I love the fact that with such scapes AND rebloom, the actual season for it starts "mid"... and doesn't end until nearly frost.

For those folks who like to make a BIG and LOUD statement with ALL the frills... how bout a pair (double fan) of some HOT and "Kinky Boots"?!?! PSssssssss..... HOT!!!!

2022: I didn't have many of these to sell upon introduction (2017), and sold out quickly... impossible to keep 'round ever since, as visitors INSIST I sell them a piece when they see it. Through trades, I got some back for this season... AT LAST!  Dropped the price a lot, so get it while it's HOT... or strut your boots right on out the door!
