Description: This UF is SOOO ADORABLE in the garden!
Not skinny enough petals to be a "spider", but surely QUITE playful... this unusual tomato-colored flower starts out relatively pure in color, but once things get heated up... it has a truly tan "pie crust", and wiggles her tasty fun like a little Italian vixen! I actually heard laughing many times when visitors would come upon it as a seedling... just something truly playful about it... perhaps its ribbony look (on sepals, too!) that instantly puts everyone who sees it into a party mood!
This plant isn't super tall, but blooms can be 7" (like the one in my hand photo). PERFECT for a more "front of the border" location, where it's habit beckons children and hardened gardeners alike!
