Description:
Like 'em "bright and showy"? Well... HERE ya go!!! Fantastically saturated and thick-substanced flowers are PROFUSE on this swash-bucklin' bad boy, with our "VRRE" (or "very rapid rebloom", shown in the scape photo) feature adding to the enjoyment for several extra weeks of the season. Robust plants are incredible to see in clump form, which doesn't take 'em a long time to get to! Indeed, if it's a "specimen" you're looking for... this fella is most DEFINITELY... "Johnny on the Spot"!
For me... the outrageous branching, bud count, and rebloom on such voracious and gorgeous plants are enough. However, the contrast of the bright green throat against the ultra-saturated and purely raspberry self are over the TOP! All in a dormant habit? WHAT are you waiting for?!?!?! GET SOME!!!
Note: Due to my poor management, I had none of this plant as of the end of its introductory year of 2014. Thanks to a GREAT friend (and dl collector) in ME, I now have it back again! THANKS, Rex!!! I've lined nice divisions of the huge clump he sent, and have more to share now! It's SO NICE to have this beast back again, and glad to know it did so well in the far north t'boot!
