Description: A good friend of mine turned me on to old movies decades ago... most notably Bette Davis flicks, which totally shocked me as the material was often quite "deep" for an era I'd pegged as "drama free"! My personal fave was one she did with Claude Rains, called "Mr. Skeffington". If you've not seen it, you SHOULD! The very effective moral to the story was beautifully portrayed, in that "beauty is MUCH more than skin deep".
This flower, I feel, TRULY portrays such principle! Clearly a beautiful patterned flower, with AMAZING performance! Please have a look at the clump photo. In it, you will see what was lined as a double fan the previous Fall... and produced EIGHT SCAPES (and incredibly well branched ones, at that) the following season!!! INCREDIBLE... and sure to be very much appreciated by ALL who get this "over the top" attention-getter in their gardens!!!
