Description:

I simply can't take a single photo of this flower, and actually give you the REAL reason this plant is indeed... special.

I'm a gardener 1st, and a daylily hybridizer 2nd. My top priority in breeding daylilies is to create new plants that are "distinctive" IN THE GARDEN, and in too many cases, static images of single blooms will NEVER tell "the whole story"! This is SO "the case" here, as 'Linda's Sincerity' is a TRULY fine specimen plant!

Light yellow blooms abound on this hottie, with great branching and bud count... that VERY rapidly reblooms, for a spectacularly long season. The substance of the entire plant is incredibly heavy, the flowers seem to be made of pure rubber. It's hard to come up with fancy edges that will bloom cleanly (open fully) in northern zones, but this one has no issue. Overall, it's truly a plant for a gardener... who appreciates looking at flowers for a large part of the season, and not just foliage.

This plant is named for a DEAR gal, named Linda Putnam. Linda is a FINE woman who I consider one of the best overall gardeners I've ever met, which is REALLY "saying something" (I've met a few in my day). Her gardens were on tour during the AHS Nat'l Convention in Norfolk (VA) in 2017, and certainly one of the best in the country... for many reasons!
