Description:

As you can hopefully see by my many photos for this hottie, I REALLY love this plant! Initial blooms are enormous, yet pale in comparison to the overall voracious habit of this simply amazing plant. Not necessarily a "Giant" in height (though sometimes hits 44", when we get rain), but the fans are HUGE... scapes big enough to knock out the toughest of mother-in-laws... and foliage wide enough to surf on! It's actually FUN to watch growing during early season, as just seeing how it "moves" is almost enough entertainment in itself... but when these FLAWLESS blooms start poppin'? WHOA, Nellie!!! Wickedly pod fertile, t'boot. I've been stunned by the form and color (kinda hard not to be), but so sun resistant and blemish-free? Have MERCY on me, Honey!!!

I hope it's no secret as to how much I (as an actual gardener) ADORE hardy and voracious specimen daylilies. Indeed, it's my "brand" at this point! Not like it's come "easy" either. This one, with such amazing habit and deeply saturated "royal" blooms... the name FITS, for SURE!

This is the best performing purple I've ever done (or ever seen, for that matter).
