Description:

This plant is Oh SO bold, no matter how (or when) you see it! Massive deep green dormant foliage is wide and rich. Thick scapes emerge, throwing lateral branches everywhere. Big fat buds pop open to reveal a stunning flower, which is impossible to miss... with such contrast of its dark eye and bright self color, on HUGE round flowers with super heavy substance. So fat... SO robust... just impossible to "hide" the fact that this is one GREAT daylily in the garden!

Great parent for breeding huge plant habit, shown well in its child 'I Gotta Be Me' (Owen, 2017).
