What a LOVELY raspberry! Deeply saturated blooms are as gorgeous as can be on this hottie, which is very hardy even in the far north! I just LOVE the color, which is exactly the same that my niece Becky picked out for her wedding theme! A true "performer", to say the least!
I chose this flower to name for my neice Becky for a number of reasons, the main being that I simply ADORE the girl! However, when she was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer at just 27, the fear of losing her nearly crushed my entire family. Besides being fabulously beautiful, Becky is truly a resilient gal. In true "Becky fashion", she's since BEAT cancer... and is living a wonderful life with her amazing husband Jesse (and new son, Brody!), while living a phenomenal LIFE!
All the proceeds from this plant have been going to Women's Cancer Research since it was introduced.
