Description: Wild and exotic, from whatever angle you choose to view her! This
3-dimensional temptress is a result of a challenging approach to improving what
has ALWAYS been my #1 priority... garden appeal. Pretty face? Well,
how much more complexity have you ever seen in the face of a daylily? No
problem there, with amazing precision to the pattern. Here's the tricky
part though... how to get a form that looks really cool from other angles?
This form manages to do just that! From the side... you can see that the
sepals curl, and the petals shoot straight up and then fly out flat. Add
in that this is a demure reverse bitone, which gives more visual depth, and the
dimensions are both physically and optically complete! It can be pretty
upsetting to create plants with major improvements that you can't see with a
"mug shot" of a flat-faced bloom... so I figured I try this route out, to appeal
to the sense of having plants with blooms that are pretty... from every angle!
Indeed, I'm hoping this flower might take away my furies... and have me dancing
in the garden, instead!
