Description: GET THIS PLANT!!!
Tall, proud, and TOTALLY bright... this award-winnin' gal sure knows how to WORK IT in the garden, for sure!!! BIG flowers open relatively flat... with amazing color (polychrome of orange, peach, and raspberry), with huge waxy green throat (that lasts all day). Great substance and sculpting for a diploid... how unusual! A true "polychrome" is not only a blend of colors, but change in appearance during the course of the day. In this vixen's case, it's a non-stop show (including on reliable rebloom!)... and no matter what, she's ALWAYS ready for a close-up!!! Can you tell, by just the mere sampling of photos I'm sharing here??? Why... I think I can almost hear her heels clapping on the runway!!!
It took generations of breeding, but I finally got THIS beauty... that's immensely larger flowered, and even more importantly, with plant habit that's sturdier in every way (VORACIOUS tet-like habit)... and DORMANT! WOO HOO!!! I couldn't be happier, and indeed, my northern gardenin' friends have loved it as much as I do (in my personal "Top 5" on the property!!!)!
This plant, in large part due to its rebloom, has a season that runs from mid through late. It's really nice to have a big display of this plant in the later season, as she's QUITE the showpiece... and the photographer's dream, as the polychrome is so vividly ethereal on this one. Also proving to be a great breeder herself, with a wide assortment of new intro's for me (she's wickedly pod fertile)!
2022: Through trading, I've finally got enough of this hottie again here to drop the price to one that EVERYONE can afford - at least... for THIS kind of workin' girl! Just because the price is low DOES NOT MEAN she's not "worth it"!!! GET IT!!!
