Description:

If you like the idea of an "ALL season bouquet", then THIS plant is for YOU!!!

I truly toiled over introducing this plant, as I'm all too well aware that the vast majority of folks buy daylilies based on the "mug shot" of a single bloom. While the blooms on this one are certainly pretty, there's NO way you can get the TRUE "look" of this plant... unless you see what it actually does IN the garden!

This plant forms nice clumps rather quickly, and is one of the first in the place to start sending up scapes... and what NICE scapes they are! Not terribly tall, but as you can see, well above the foliage. Reblooms starts IMMEDIATELY, and I've not seen a season in all its years here that it hasn't bloomed a full round of at least 3 scapes per fan.

The very light self color is SO insanely cheerful, the red eye makes it wildly entertaining (when seen "en masse", which is virtually EVERY day). The large blooms are presented FLAWLESSLY upright and outward, making it a perfect specimen plant for nearer the "front of the border" for a long-term display. Put all these phenomenal attributes into a stone-cold dormant habit, and call a northern gardener VERY happy... perhaps even "Unhinged" with delight? I BET SO!!!
